Global Player Win

We’re delighted to win the Ayrshire Chamber Global Player Award.

McCulloch Group has marked 30 years in business by securing an award for global success from the Chamber of Commerce.

The company, which now operates across the UK, Europe, North America, and Australasia, was founded 30 years ago on a desire to do better. Solving problems is at the core of the business, as is innovation – and have been since the very first product, the TRT™, was invented by the McCulloch brothers in a yard, in a small Scottish village.

For decades, the challenge on the railways has always been safety. McCulloch Group was born of innovation; creating technical solutions that make on-track work safer for all. Whilst rail infrastructure projects still have their dangers, the new challenge is one that, if tackled properly, will save the planet.

30 years, and many products later – the fleet of machinery was recently enhanced yet again, with the creation of McCulloch Group’s first all-electric piece of kit – the TRTe.

The last five years have seen the business focus on International growth, identifying Australasia, North America, and Europe as key markets for the McCulloch fleet of solutions. With key projects secured in each of these markets, making international efforts a significant part of the Scotland-based business.

These efforts were recognised last month with McCulloch Group winning the ‘Global Player’ award at the Ayrshire set of the Chamber of Commerce Awards. The award itself was awarded to an Ayrshire based business that has achieved sustained international growth by harnessing the opportunity of overseas markets and exports. An ideal way to mark a mammoth milestone in business.
