Overview – Provide support to ensure the Integrated Company Management System is maintained and updated to ensure compliance with Legislation, Industry and McCulloch and accreditation standards. Additionally, provide support to the Rail Management teams to ensure compliance with relevant rail standards and general support for the effective coordination and maintenance of external registrations, and certification.

Key Objectives

Collating Rail related information received from relevant sources and issuing for review to appropriate personnel, collating responses, and where deemed relevant distributing this information internally and to subcontractors.

Main Duties –

Co-ordination and representing the business in external Audits undertaken in association with RISQS, BSi or other relevant bodies. Co-ordinate and monitor any NCRs and associated actions raised, including collating of close out evidence.Co-ordinate internal and external audits as appropriate Update the IMS with revisions ensuring publication and communicating to the business.Organise and co-ordinate management reviews and collate and monitor actions arisingAdvise of any update to procedures in accordance with Network Rail requirements & Rail StandardsMaintain register of latest standards and circulate updates to relevant personnel Maintain standards updates schedule Assist in maintaining the McCulloch Sentinel process. Organise and notify Sentinel primary sponsored personnel of changes via briefing note and collate returnsCollate all Rail related internal and external alerts notices etc, and circulate to relevant personnelRegularly arrange review of IMS to ensure alignment with Rail requirementsCollect and collate monthly and periodic Rail KPI information, including rail trend information (overruns, fatigue management, NCR’s, OTP use etc)Collate monitor and distribute on call informationMonitor any exceedancesUndertake system audits as required. Work with the department heads to ensure they can effectively deliver their elements of the system, so that the IMS is logical, maintained, and accessible to end users.Provide support to McCulloch employees, clients, external bodies, and contractors in relation to the IMS. Liaise with the training department on delivery of training, briefings and guidance as required. Communicate changes in the IMS to employees so that they are aware of the latest developments and appropriate best practice, to ensure the customers’ needs are met.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Rail related qualifications i.e. PTS Auditing experience Knowledge and understanding of Rail Industry Standards Sound understanding of IMS systems Experience in dealing with IMS systems, and processes, identifying training needs, and identification of effective process measurementProven ability to support a business in the implementation of change Excellent organisational, planning and time management skillsAbility to deliver to demanding deadlines Excellent communications skills.
