McCulloch Rail is founded by twin brothers Billy and Danny McCulloch.
2005
Billy invents the first ever TRT in Ballantrae.
2009
We design another solution – the first ever FLASS, the concept behind our Panel Lifters.
2016
McCulloch International is launched during a family trip to New York.
2019
Remote Control technology is added to the TRT – another advancement for the safety of rail workers.
2020
McCulloch acquires S+C Engineering, creating it’s own in-house manufacturing arm.

Ian Morgan
Head of Engineering & Innovation
With 30 years’ experience in the industry and having held a previous role with Network Rail, Ian Morgan leads the McCulloch Group engineering functions and innovation.
Leigh Beynon joined McCulloch Group as Head of People at the end of 2021 after holding the position of HR Director at global events company Informa. Leigh is implementing a people-focused approach within McCulloch Group.
With an extensive background in rail operations and now ten years with McCulloch under his belt, Jon took on the role of Head of Operations in 2021, leading some of our most challenging projects.
With over a decade in senior management roles across public, third and private sectors Dylan’s experiences focus on driving organisational success, stakeholder engagement and development strategy. He is currently Interim Group Lead, having previously been Head of Business Support and Head of Marketing and Communications for the McCulloch Group.
With over 20years’ experience in high risk industries, Suzanne joins us with a wealth of experience. She is responsible for health and safety governance across the McCulloch Group.
